The Scagel Style Alaskan is a handcrafted hunting and outdoor knife by Behring Made. Its distinctive design combines a broad, versatile Alaskan blade with an intricately constructed handle in the classic Scagel style.
The robust 80CrV2 carbon steel blade features a hollow grind and Behring Made’s characteristic hammermark finish. Measuring just under 12 cm, the blade is ideally suited to a wide range of cutting tasks in the field and outdoors. The pronounced finger choil and thumb rest provide a secure, blade-forward grip and excellent control.
The handle combines stacked horsehide, green Micarta and richly textured Sambar stag. A copper guard and carefully arranged spacers of copper, brass, black fiber and green Micarta complete the classic handle construction. The contrasting materials and their individual textures make each knife a distinctive one-of-a-kind piece.
The knife comes with a handcrafted dark-brown tooled-leather pouch sheath featuring a belt loop and copper rivets.
